Bikaner : 50 percent seats have been increased in the seats reserved for admission in Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools of the state. Now the heads of these schools will be able to give admission if there is sufficient space and classroom availability in their school. These instructions will open the way for admission in those schools in which more applications have been received than the prescribed seats. The heads of the institutions will be able to give admission to the extent of revised seats in the lottery order from the reserve applications of the online lottery drawn in them.
45 students can be given admission
In schools, instead of the prescribed number of 30 in each section from first to fifth, now 45 students can be admitted if sufficient space is available. Now 53 students can be admitted instead of the prescribed number of 35 per section from class 6 to 8. Similarly, from class 9 to 12, instead of the prescribed number of 60 per section, admissions can be given as per the capacity of the classroom.

Instructions have been given to the heads of institutions that if there is availability of space, no student will be denied admission up to the limit of the increased seats. First, admissions will be given from the reserve applications of the lottery. If seats remain vacant even after that, then admissions can be given till 31 July. If more applications are received than the increased limit in any English medium school, then more than one section can also be opened if there is availability of space and rooms in the school.
