Jaipur : A tanker filled with crude soybean oil overturned on Friday morning at Chhitaroli intersection of Jaipur-Ajmer Highway. The tanker was carrying 42 tonnes of crude oil, which was going from Gandhidham in Gujarat towards Delhi. When oil leakage started after the accident, nearby people reached the spot with barrels and drums and started looting the oil. Police and fire brigade reached the spot and removed the people. But by then people had filled a large amount of oil.
Due to the overturning of the tanker, the road became slippery for about 4 kilometers, due to which more than a dozen two-wheeler drivers lost control and fell and got injured. Due to the accident, a traffic jam was created. To control the slipping, the fire brigade of HPCL depot sprayed water. The road was protected by pouring soil.
