Jodhpur : After the ongoing uproar over the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam, a case of theft of an OMR sheet of Joint Entrance Examination (JET) / Pre-PG / PhD Entrance Examination-2024 has come to light from the strong room of the Agriculture University in Jodhpur. This incident has created a stir among the university administration and the examinees. The OMR sheets used during the examination were kept safe in the strong room, but during the investigation, the disappearance of an OMR sheet was confirmed.
As soon as the information about this theft incident was received, the university administration immediately lodged a complaint with the police. The police have registered a case and started investigation. In the preliminary investigation, efforts are being made to find out how and when the OMR sheet was stolen. The police have also investigated the security arrangements of the strong room and the concerned people are being questioned. The university administration has also constituted an internal investigation committee on its behalf, which will conduct a detailed investigation of this incident.
