On Teachers’ Day, CM Bhajanlal remembered his teacher, know what he said

When I went to school for the first time my father distributed jaggery

CM Sharma, while recalling his childhood days, said that earlier when I used to go to school for the first time, my family members used to distribute jaggery. My grandfather had made a lot of preparations for my admission. When he took me, he decorated the slate. He took Guru Dakshina with him to school. Earlier, admission had a lot of importance. Shankar Lal ji Master sahab was the only teacher in the school. He got me admitted for the first time. He taught me till 5th standard.

Life is desolate without a Guru

While praising his childhood Guru Shankar Lal, the Chief Minister said that farming was done in the village. The family members also used to focus on studies rather than farming. But Guruji used to go to such houses and ask the family members to send their children to school. He used to tell them, “Farming work can be done later but definitely send the child to school. Without Guru, life is desolate. Today I salute all those Gurus and also congratulate them that they are doing such a holy work.
