Opportunity to Join National Sports Tribunal, Apply by June 18

New Delhi, June 3: The National Sports Tribunal (NST) has issued an official notification inviting applications for two member positions under the National Sports Administration Act, 2025. The online application process is now open, with the deadline set for June 18. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their registration forms on the official portal of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports by 8 PM on the final date.

Applicants must be distinguished individuals in public life with extensive knowledge and experience in sports, public administration, and law. The salary and other terms for the NST members will be governed by the provisions of the National Sports Administration (National Sports Tribunal) Rules, 2026.

The selection of qualified candidates will be conducted by a search-cum-selection committee established under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. The committee will evaluate the suitability of applications based on the candidates’ qualifications and experience, shortlisting candidates for personal interviews. Final selection will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the candidates’ qualifications, experience, and performance in the interview.

It is noteworthy that the National Sports Tribunal is a statutory body established under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025, located in Delhi, which hears disputes related to sports. Selected members will also be posted in Delhi.
