Ajmer : Preparations have been made to install token machines in the OPD of Ajmer JLN Hospital to control the crowd of patients. However, after the news was published, it was agreed to make additional seating arrangements for the patients. Radha Prem Udyan in front of OPD main gate will be used as patient waiting hall. For this, a roof shed will be put up and chairs will be installed. The seating arrangement in OPD hall will also be strengthened.

Around 4700-5000 patients come to OPD daily. To control such a crowd, it was decided to install token machines. 10 machines have been ordered. The trial was successful, but there was a shortage of space to accommodate patients. On Wednesday, a news was published with the title ‘Pass in token machine trial but the biggest challenge is to seat the patients by giving token number’. After this, the hospital administration has decided to build a waiting hall in the park. Adequate number of chairs will be provided here for the patients to sit. The parking area outside OPD will also be reduced.

Hospital Superintendent Dr. Arvind Khare said that with the help of Bhamashah, chairs will be arranged for the patients to sit in Radha Prem Udyan. Will provide half shade to protect from sunlight. The parking space in front of prescription and medicine counters will also be reduced. Parking of some vehicles will be done near the mortuary or around the new medicine block. Patients will get a place to sit outside the OPD. 10 more token machines will be purchased. According to Superintendent Dr. Khare, 10 more token machines will be ordered. Screens will be installed in Radha Prem Udyan, OPD hall and wherever patients sit. An announcement will be put into the system. On which some token numbers will be announced so that when the number comes, the patient reaches the OPD of the concerned department on time.
