People were administered oath of cleanliness and drug addiction in Pratapgarh.

Pratapgarh : A special Gram Sabha was organized today in Ghotarsi Gram Panchayat of Pratapgarh. After the Preamble of the Constitution was read in the Gram Sabha, an oath of cleanliness and drug addiction was administered to the people present. Everyone also took a pledge to plant a sapling in the name of their mother.

Village Development Officer Mahesh Chandra Teli said that the special Gram Sabha of Ghotarsi Gram Panchayat was organized under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Radha Meena. During this, tributes were paid to Lord Birsa Munda who sacrificed his life for the independence of the country. An oath was administered to the people by making them aware about cleanliness and drug addiction. They will never take drugs in future and will cooperate in maintaining cleanliness. During this time, while planting saplings, everyone also took a pledge to plant one sapling in the name of their mother. Panchayat Assistant Bhupendra Singh laid emphasis on the training of the selected members, Panchayat representatives and officials in the Gram Sabha. Development works were also discussed in the Gram Sabha. Many villagers including school students, Anganwadi workers and health department employees were present in the program.
