On this important occasion, Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, Prof. Yogesh Singh said that this is a historic and proud day for Delhi University. He said that this step by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an important initiative towards adding a new dimension in the field of education.
Releasing a video, he said, “It is a matter of pride for Delhi University that on Friday the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of three important projects for Delhi University. The first project is of East Delhi Campus, which will be built in East Delhi. , the second project is of West Delhi Campus, and the third project is of Savarkar College, which will come up in Roshanpura, Najafgarh.”
He further said, “The Government of India plans to expand the field of education, making good education available to all. Delhi University is playing a leading role in such plans, and we will try to develop additional facilities and infrastructure. These projects will be ready in the next one and a half to two years. For this, I want to express my gratitude to the Government of India that they have given an amount of about Rs. 600 crores to start these projects, so that we can complete these works. Are.”
He said, “We already have North and South campuses, and now we will have East and West campuses. Thus, we will have four major campuses in different directions.
