Poisonous air of Jaipur NCR forced people to return home

Jaipur : Jaipur Increasing pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR) has disrupted people’s lives. The poisonous air has now confined people to their homes and those who had jobs in NCR have returned to Jaipur and started working from home. Due to this, there is a huge decline in passenger load in buses going from Delhi to Jaipur. From wedding ceremonies to business seminars, people are now postponing their trips due to pollution. Due to increasing pollution in Jaipur, the government has now started preparations for action against old vehicles.

The increasing pollution in NCR has not only affected people’s health but also affected their travel plans. Now there is a decline in passenger load in Volvo and Deluxe buses going from Sindhi Camp to Delhi. Earlier, where the passenger load in these buses between Jaipur and Delhi was more than 90 percent, now it has come down to 60 percent. Pollution has affected the buses on Delhi route. Very less number of people are going to Delhi NCR. Passenger load is coming up to 60 to 65 percent.

Preparation to take action against old vehicles in Jaipur

If old vehicles are found plying on the roads despite the ban, they will be thrown out of the district. According to roadways officials, events like wedding ceremonies and business seminars usually attract passengers during this time, leading to increased passenger load in buses, but now people are avoiding attending these events due to pollution.
