Protests at many places in Bihar against atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh

Gaya/Nalanda, December 5 (IANS). There is anger among the Hindus of Bihar regarding the atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh. Protests were organized in Nalanda and Gaya on Thursday in protest against this atrocity, in which a large number of people participated.

In the protest program organized at Gandhi Maidan in Gaya, Bihar, hundreds of people raised their voice against the atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh. The speakers sitting on the protest said that there is huge anger among the people against the atrocities and violence being done against minorities in Bangladesh. He demanded from the government to take immediate action and stop the atrocities against minorities.

Bihar Minister Prem Kumar, who was sitting on the dharna, said that in the last few years, Hindus are being attacked in Pakistan, Canada or Bangladesh, in protest against the same, Hindus staged a dharna today. Through this protest, we demand that minorities in Bangladesh be given security. Hindu society will not remain silent regarding these attacks. ISKCON temple religious leader Jagdish Shyam Das, youth BJP leader Manish Pankaj and people from various organizations participated in the protest program in large numbers. Everyone raised the demand for intervention by the Indian government to stop the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.

A protest was organized at Bihar Sharif’s Hospital Chowk, Nalanda district headquarters, in protest against the atrocities on Hindu, Jain, Sikh and other minority communities in Bangladesh. The demonstration was organized under the banner of Rashtriya Bharatiya Samaj, in which various sections of the society participated.

BJP District President Ravi Shankar Prasad said that in India all citizens are kept safe, but the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh are very worrying. Our demand is that security should be provided to the life and property of the Hindu community there. Wherever there is oppression against Sanatanis, we will oppose it.

Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, who participated in the protest program, said that today inhuman atrocities are being committed on people of minority community in Bangladesh. Our Hindu, Jain, Sikh families are unsafe. He condemned the jailing of Hindu religious leaders and other atrocities by fundamentalist forces in Bangladesh. He suggested that India should adopt an aggressive policy like Israel and move towards building a united India.
