On Thursday, heavy rains occurred in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bhilwara, Tonk, Jodhpur and Barmer districts. Very heavy rains have been recorded in Bundi district. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 141 mm (6 inches) has been recorded in Nainwa of Bundi. 90.6 mm rainfall has been recorded in Jodhpur of western Rajasthan. The weather suddenly changed in the capital Jaipur on Thursday evening and 2 inches of water fell in about an hour and it kept raining in the capital till late night. Here, in Nainwa of Bundi, 6 inches of rain in two and a half hours on Wednesday night, due to which a sheet of water of two and a half feet flowed on the Kanak Sagar Dam of Dugari and the sheet of water entered the village, due to which flood like situation has arisen. The lanes, houses, shops and roads of the village are filled with four feet of water.

The gauge of Bisalpur dam was recorded at 315.49 RL meter on Friday morning at 8 am. In such a situation, only 01 centimeter is left from the dam being full. It is believed that in the coming 2 hours the dam will be completely full and the gates of the dam can be opened between 9 and 10 am. Water will be drained from gate number 8 and 9.
