Ajmer : A case of rape of a foreign female tourist who had come to India for a visit has come to light. The tourist was raped several times from 3 to 21 July. After the incident, the victim contacted an NGO in Bundi and a case was registered in the Bundi women’s police station. Since the case was from Ajmer, a zero FIR was registered in Bundi, which was immediately forwarded by the women police station to the Ajmer Civil Lines police station. Now the Ajmer police will take further action.
Medical examination was done late at night
The news of rape of a foreign woman created a stir. The police has got the victim medically examined. Bundi City CO Amar Singh, Sadar in-charge Bhagwan Sahay Meena immediately reached the women’s police station and inquired about the case. SHO of the women’s police station Ashmin Bano said that the victim had presented herself at the police station through an NGO of Bundi, where she gave information about the incident that happened with her. Immediately after hearing the case, a written report was taken and full information was given to District Superintendent of Police Anuman Meena. The case was registered on the instructions of the SP. Then late at night, the foreign woman was medically examined at Bundi Hospital.
The woman is from the US
Women’s police station SHO Ashmin told that the victim is a resident of USA who had recently come to India for a tour. The girl saw the heritage of India from Delhi to Ajmer. During this time, she met a young man in Ajmer, with whom she had previously befriended through Facebook. The female tourist roamed around Ajmer with the young man for 2 to 3 days. After that, he took the girl to a hotel, where he raped her. After that, the young man also took her to a temple and also did a fake marriage. The victim told the police that the young man kept raping her by giving her false hope of marriage. However, he did a drama of marriage in a temple to gain her trust. When the girl reached his house from the hotel, her eyes were wide open.
Eyes opened when wife and children were found at home
In her statement to the police, the victim said that the accused befriended her through Facebook by claiming to be unmarried. The youth Manav Rathore is a resident of Ajmer, who raped her in a hotel in Ajmer. According to the police, the accused used to show false dreams of marrying the victim. Later, when she asked the youth to take her home, he first used to toll the money, but when he brought her home, his wife and a child were already there. Seeing this, the foreign woman was shocked. When the reason was asked from the youth, the youth started giving his explanation. After this, the woman sought help from an NGO.
