Rajsamand : Rajsamand On the call of Rajasthan Vidyut Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti, all the employees and officers of Rajsamand circle staged a protest on Friday against privatization and demanding to start cutting of OPS. After this, the Chief Minister submitted a memorandum to the Additional District Collector. It was told in the memorandum that at present most of the works in the three Discoms of the state are being done through out source FRT contracts and in the names of CLRC etc. Now under this model, feeder segregation of 33/11 KV grid is being outsourced and given to private hands, which is a direct violation of the Grid Safety Code. He said that Broadcasting Corporation, which is a profit making organization for years, yet its grids are being operated on contract and the income received from 765 KV and 400 KV grid substations is being distributed to private partners through this model. An attempt is being made to make broadcasting a loss making corporation by dividing it.
On the call of Rajasthan Vidyut Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti, protest was held outside Vidyut Bhawan located in Dhoinda. After this, a protest was held in the form of a rally at the main gate of the Collectorate. He submitted a memorandum to the Additional District Collector, Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of Energy Department etc. He said that after the implementation of the old pension scheme in the institution, no deduction in the form of employer contribution will be made under the CPF scheme and in compliance till date CPF deduction has been stopped and GPF deduction has not been started.
He said that if the above demand is not met, the democratic labor movement will continue against the electricity administration and the state government in the interest of the country, industry and workers in the future. All the employees and officers of the district including Chandra Mohan Solanki, Sitaram Sharma, Narayan Singh, Satyaveer Singh, Bharat Yadav, Jeevaram Rebari, Nitesh Lodha, Yajuvendra Singh Gaurav, Jeevan Singh, Tuhiram Sharma, Nirav Vora were present in the protest.
