Rajsamand Narayan Lal Gurjar represented India in Riyadh

Narayan Lal Gurjar of Rajsamand : Rajsamand participated as a speaker representing India in COP 16 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He expressed his views on “Our Land Our Future”. Narayan Lal Gurjar, originally from Kerdi, a small village near Rajsamand, is the founder and CEO of EF Polymer. Gurjar participated in the 16th conference “COP 16” organized by UNCCD in Riyadh UAE. This conference is being organized in Riyadh from 2 to 13 December. During COP 16, Narayan Lal Gurjar discussed with leaders, policy-makers and stakeholders from 197 parties (196 countries and the European Union) on effective solutions and partnerships to tackle the impacts of land degradation and dry lands.

Narayan Lal said at COP 16 that the theme of the conference – Our Land Our Future – reflects the need to save land resources and restore it for future generations. Nature is very powerful. It doesn’t need our support. Whatever we are doing now, it is for us. If we want to keep ourselves or the next generation safe, we need to take action, we can’t change the world. For which, start with small changes, instead of being result oriented, take the first step in the right direction, only then nature will support us.

Who is Narayan Gurjar
Narayan Lal Gurjar, son of Devi Lal Gurjar, is a resident of small village Kerdi in Rajsamand district. Gurjar opened a start-up company named EF Polymer which is engaged in manufacturing fertilizer. Its specialty is that despite 40 percent less water and 20 percent less fertilizer, excellent farming can be done with the company’s product. This can increase the yield by 15 to 20 times.
