Jaipur : Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (Rajasthan PCC) President Govind Singh Dotasra is currently playing the role of star campaigner in Haryana Election 2024. But on Friday evening he has created a stir in the politics of Rajasthan by tweeting. While sharing a list of frequent transfers of RAS officers on ‘X’, he asked Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma whether good governance is going to come like this?
‘Transfers done 3-3 times in a month’
Through this list, Dotasara has claimed that during the last 10 months of Bhajan Lal government in Rajasthan, 4 RAS officers have been transferred 5 times. Apart from these, there are 15 RAS officers who have been transferred 15 times between December 2023 and September 2024. Whereas 50 RAS officers have been transferred 3 times in 10 months. Among these 50 names, there are two officers who have been transferred thrice in just one month. Dotasara has also shared the names of the officers and their transfer dates through her social media accounts.
‘Officials kept playing football’
While sharing this list, Dotasara wrote, ‘The BJP government, which claims to transfer officers after 360 degree testing, has made football in the name of transfer of officers. Moved from here to there 3-3 times in a month. There are many officers who got the next transfer order as soon as they joined. Will good governance come like this?
Order for immediate joining without leave
Last Monday, the Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan transferred 83 RAS officers. This list came a day ago after the transfers of IAS-IPS. But there was a special thing in it. Along with the transfer order, the officers were also asked to assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect. Probably this happened for the first time, when this order was given along with the transfer list. According to sources, they were asked to join at the new place immediately because on September 5, the government had transferred 108 IAS and 386 RAS officers. But, even after that, till 22 September, two IAS and 80 RAS did not join their new posts. Many government works were being affected due to officers not joining even after 15 days of transfer. Perhaps this is the reason why the government has ordered the officers to immediately join the place of their transfer.
Breakfast in Jaisalmer, Dinner in Pali
Due to the continuously released transfer list in Rajasthan, such a situation arose at some places that officers had to have dinner somewhere else and morning breakfast somewhere else. For example, when the transfer list of 386 RAS officers was released, Mukesh Chaudhary’s name was in it. He was transferred from Dungarpur and made the CEO of Jaisalmer Zilla Parishad. But on the day of Mukesh Chaudhary’s joining, he was transferred again and he was made the CEO of Pali Zilla Parishad.
