Re-counting begins in Dausa, Returning Officer takes decision on BJP’s demand

Dausa : BJP candidate Jagmohan Meena has faced defeat in Dausa Assembly seat of Rajasthan. Congress candidate DC Bairava has won from here. However, the margin of victory and defeat is very close. Shortly after the results were declared, BJP demanded re-counting of votes in Dausa. On the demand of BJP, the observer and returning officer have decided to count the votes again in Dausa. After which counting of votes has started again at some booths of Dausa.

According to the information received, votes are being counted again in 10 booths of Dausa. It is known that Kirori Lal Meena’s brother Jagmohan Meena is the candidate from BJP in Dausa. Jagmohan Meena’s pain was expressed after the defeat here. While talking to the media after the defeat, he said – What to do when your own people become disloyal?

However, now it remains to be seen what effect the results will have after re-counting of votes in Dausa.

In fact, Abhay Shankar Sharma, election agent of Dausa BJP candidate Jagmohan Meena, had demanded recounting from the RO. After which RO Mulchand Lunia took the decision of recounting at 10 booths. After about 2 hours, counting of votes has started again in Dausa.
