Jaipur : In Rajasthan, the ‘Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana’, which was started in place of ‘Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana’, continues to provide cashless treatment up to Rs 25 lakh. The limit of Rs 25 lakh has not been abolished yet. This information was given by the government in the assembly on Thursday. This information has been given in a written reply to the question of MLA Chetan Patel.
While giving a written reply in the assembly, the Medical and Health Department informed that the ‘Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme’ was implemented in the state by the previous state government from May 1, 2021. Which is currently operating under the name of ‘Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana’. Under this scheme, the facility of cashless treatment up to Rs 25 lakh is continuing. The government has not stopped it. Currently this facility is continuing.
However, in an order issued on 7 March 2024, it was told that under this scheme, accident insurance cover of up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided free of cost to the insured family. Under the scheme, in case of accidental death of the member / members of the insured family or permanent total damage to hands, feet, eyes due to accident, financial support will be provided to the insured family as per the rules of this scheme.
