Jaipur : Regarding the arrest of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member and former member in the paper leak case, Congress National General Secretary Sachin Pilot said that the commission should be reconstituted to re-establish its credibility. Pilot said that in 2023, ED arrested RPSC member Babulal Katara in the second class teacher recruitment exam paper leak case and now SOG has arrested former RPSC member Ramuram Raika in the Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Paper Leak case. This has put a question mark on the credibility of the institution.
Credibility is essential in 4 lakh recruitments
Pilot further said that four lakh government jobs have been announced in the budget. Out of which one lakh jobs have been said to be given by March 2025. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the government to maintain complete transparency in the recruitment examinations and its selection system as well as to maintain credibility among the youth preparing for the examination and their parents towards the institution conducting the examination.
Beniwal demanded the arrest of the former president
At the same time, National Democratic Party President and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma demanding the cancellation of SI Recruitment – 2021 organized by Rajasthan Public Service Commission and also negating the role of Shrotriya, the then Chairman of RPSC.
Also, he cannot go to Rajasthan because the arrest of Chairman Sanjay Shrotriya directly interferes in any confidential work of the Public Service Commission of the institution. In such a situation, there is a demand to arrest Shrotriya. MP Beniwal said that it is necessary to arrest Shrotriya in the interest of the youth.
