Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer’s food safety team, while taking action at the resort and camp located in Sam village, took samples of 4 food products suspected to be adulterated. Along with this, strict instructions were given to those without food license to get food license immediately. Under the leadership of Food Safety Officer Kishnaram Kadwasara, 4 samples of ghee, curd and cheese were taken from the resorts. Samples of all the food products have been sent to the lab located in Jodhpur. Now further action will be taken after the testing report of the food product comes from Jodhpur Lab.

FSO Kadwasra said – As per the instructions of Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Control Rajasthan, ‘Pure Food – Attack on Adulteration’ campaign is going on continuously in all the districts of Rajasthan. In Jaisalmer district also, in view of the tourist season and wedding season, under the guidance of CMHO Dr. BL Bunkar, various resorts located in Sam village were raided on suspicion of adulteration.

Inspected the restaurant of the resort and camp in Sam village, the tourist area of ​​Jaisalmer, and took 4 samples of food items including curd, ghee, cheese. All the food samples have been sent to the Public Health Laboratory, Jodhpur and further legal action will be taken as per the report received from there. Kadwasra said – In view of the tourist season and festive season in Jaisalmer, this special campaign will continue. Along with this, Kadwasra said that all food vendors should compulsorily get their food license made. Legal action will be taken as per rules against those without food license by presenting challan in the court.
