Second arrest in 272 plot scam case of Udaipur Corporation, SOG investigation continues

Udaipur : SOG has made the second arrest in the case of the much talked about scam of 272 plots of Udaipur Municipal Corporation, Udaipur. SOG has arrested the accused Kishan Lal resident of Eklavya Basti, Mallatlai. Accused Kishanlal had taken into his account Rs 7 lakh from a plot sold in Hiranmagari. After this, this money was delivered to the main accused Vikram Takadiya through two accused. SOG ASP Swati Sharma said that the report was filed in the year 2022.

It was told that Rajendra Dhakad, along with officers and employees, prepared fake documents for plot number 546 of the corporation in Sector-11. Got the lease deed and transfer letter issued in the name of Kishan Patel. Then sold it to Salumber resident Anil Kachauria for Rs 50.01 lakh. During interrogation of the accused by SOG, it came to light that Rajendra Dhakad had deposited Rs 7 lakh in Kishan’s account. Kishan withdrew this money and gave it to Kishan Marwari and Rakesh Solanki. Both of them delivered the money to Vikram Takadiya. SOG has taken accused Kishanlal on remand due to which further investigation in the case is going on.

Earlier, two accused including Ward Panch had been arrested.

SOG has arrested 2 accused including the Ward Panch this month. Both the accused are in jail. According to the information, both the accused had considerable influence in the Municipal Corporation. They cunningly prepared fake documents and got the land deals done by making dummy candidates. The collusion of officers and employees of the corporation is also coming to light in this, which is being investigated by SOG.
