Serbian President Begins State Visit to China

Beijing, May 24: Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić commenced his first state visit to China on Sunday afternoon, arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport.

Serbia is recognized as the first European country to co-create a community with a shared future alongside China and serves as a significant partner for China in Southern and Eastern Europe. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of both leaders, China-Serbia relations have reached a high level. The two sides firmly support each other’s core interests, with strong mutual political trust, substantial achievements in cooperation, close multilateral coordination, and good people-to-people exchanges.

Prior to the visit, a spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that China is prepared to strengthen its ironclad friendship with Serbia during President Vučić’s visit, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance multilateral coordination, and achieve more accomplishments in building a community with a shared future in the new era, ultimately benefiting the people of both nations.
