Mumbai, November 18 (IANS). Musician Shekhar Ravjiani has shared a post on social media saying that he lost his voice two years ago.
Composer Shekhar Ravjiani of Vishal-Shekhar duo shared a post on the social media platform Instagram on Monday and said, “I have never told you about this before, but today I feel like sharing it, so I am doing it. Left I lost my voice due to vocal cord paralysis and that was a very painful time for me.”
Talking about his treatment, he further said, “I was devastated and honestly disappointed. To be honest, I thought I would never be able to sing again. My family was tensed seeing me like this.” I prayed and continued to work despite all the difficulties and was determined not to give up.”
On this he told me to have faith that you will be able to sing again. When he tried it for me for the first time, I was singing in a hoarse voice and my voice was also trembling. Even after this he continued working for me. His dedication, determination and positivity gave life to my paralyzed voice within a few weeks. Thanks to Dr. Erin Walsh.
He further said, “There may be a million difficulties in life, but in every situation, remain positive and have faith. You will definitely find a companion or angel on this path, who will end your difficulties.”
Shekhar Ravjiani is known for his work with the Vishal-Shekhar duo. As a composer, he has composed films like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhie’, ‘Ra-One’, ‘Shaadi Ke Laddu’, ‘Shabd’, ‘Slam Namaste’, ‘Tashan’, ‘ Has worked in ‘Dostana’, ‘Dus’.
