Sirohi mad dog bit 5 pedestrians, saved with difficulty

Sirohi : A dog suffering from rabies bit five pedestrians on Saturday evening in the Ambe Mata Mandir area of Sirohi city. On receiving the information, the rescuers of the dog rescue team reached the spot and despite the lack of resources, they successfully rescued it with great difficulty. Put in the cage. Later, his treatment was started under the supervision of veterinarians. According to the information, a dog was roaming in the Ambe Mata temple area for a long time. Till some time ago his nature was calm, but suddenly his nature changed and he started biting the passers-by. These people got treated in the district hospital and given anti-rabies vaccine.

When the dog rescue team got information about this, team’s Dinesh Yadav along with Aman Chauhan, Abbas Khan, Yuvraj Arora, Vikram Meena, Lokesh Adiwal and Arvind Chanwaria reached the spot. During this time, the municipal administration was also informed and requested to rescue him. Due to the municipal workers not reaching the spot for a long time and fear of the dog biting people, the rescue team informed Dr. Shivlal Nogia of the veterinary hospital and decided to rescue it despite lack of resources. After a lot of efforts, the dog was safely rescued and put in a cage. On Sunday morning, Dr. Nogia and veterinary hospital nursing worker Vishal Meena started his treatment. Dr. Nogia said that dogs suffering from rabies do not survive for long. He told that it is necessary for other dogs who have been bitten by this dog to get anti-rabies vaccine, otherwise the chances of them also getting rabies increases.

Municipal administration does not have resources

If the dogs roaming in the city suffer from any disease and need to be treated, the municipal administration has no other resource except a cage to catch them. At the time of the incident, a cage which was available with the municipality was being taken to keep a dog undergoing treatment. In such a situation, it was difficult for the rescuers to get a cage. The service-oriented youth who rescue dogs in the city have requested the municipal administration to provide resources. So that such dogs can be caught in time and treated.
