Sirohi: Speeding truck wreaks havoc, 20 sheep die

Sirohi : 20 sheep died on the spot after being hit by a speeding truck near Dodua village on Sirohi-Kalandri road in Sirohi Sadar police station area on Friday night at around 8:00 pm. While 13 were seriously injured. On receiving information about the accident, Sirohi Sadar police reached the spot and started searching for the truck and driver who absconded from the spot.

According to the information, Jogaram son of Vaga Ram, resident of Dodua village, was returning home after grazing his sheep from the forest. At around 8:00 pm, a speeding truck came, crushed his sheep badly and ran away from the spot. 20 sheep died on the spot in the accident. While 13 were seriously injured. As soon as information about the accident was received, ASI Shaitan Singh Deora of Sirohi Sadar police station reached the spot along with his team and inspected the spot. Started search for the truck that escaped from the spot. The doctor of the veterinary hospital was called on the spot and treatment of the injured sheep was started. ASI Shaitan Singh Deora of Sirohi Sadar police station area said that the postmortem of the dead sheep was done by the medical board on Saturday morning. In which Ravi Narendra Singh Deora was present along with Dr. Babulal in the team of Dr. Nitish Arora of the veterinary hospital. A blockade is being set up across the district to search for the truck that escaped from the spot.
