The robber bride is from Akola, Maharashtra
According to the information received, the robber bride is a resident of Akola, Maharashtra, who cheated Rs 3 lakh from the victim in exchange of fake marriage. Later, when the marriage came near, the marriage was postponed on the pretext of mother’s illness. When investigation was conducted when something seemed wrong, it was found that the robber bride was already married. After this deception, the victim has now filed a case against some people in Chaupasni Housing Board. After the complaint, the police have started further investigation in the matter.

Police said that Mithun Bhati, a resident of Gajendra Nagar Shobhavat ki Dhani, has filed a case of fraud against a girl from Maharashtra. She told that when she was not getting married, her elder father’s son Babulal contacted her house and said that he would get her married to someone he knew. Falling into this trap, he agreed to see the girl. For this, his marriage was fixed with Supriya alias Rohini of Akola, Maharashtra. In return, three lakh rupees were extorted from him in different installments.
Police have now registered a case against many people including Supriya alias Rohini, Babulal, Salim Khan, Neha, Santosh on the complaint of the victim and have started investigation.
Police said that initial investigation revealed that the victim was deliberately trapped after making a complete plan. First, her fake marriage was organized in a temple in Udaipur. Later Supriya alias Rohini was called back to Akola Maharashtra after a few days on the pretext of her mother’s illness. After this, when the victim went to meet him, he came to know that he was already married and had a child.
Police also said that to fix the marriage, the accused had made a fake Aadhaar card of Supriya alias Rohini and shown her as unmarried. Even after the truth came out, the gang threatened to implicate the complainant in a false case of human trafficking. After this the victim sought help from the police. After which the police is investigating the matter thoroughly.
