Banswara : LEO College Annual Sports Meet 2024 was organized at the sports stadium of the college. This annual sports day was inaugurated by LEO Institute Director Manish Trivedi. Principal Dr. Shilpa Trivedi said that all the men’s and women’s teams in cricket, badminton, volleyball and Kho-Kho participated in this event. 5 teams participated in volleyball.
Team Leo Royals was the winner. A total of 30 players participated in badminton. The male winner was Krish Joshi and the female winner was Manisha Garasia. 4 teams participated in cricket. The winner was Punit & Team and the runner up was Karan & Team. Vishal Bhoi was the man of the series by contributing 90 runs and taking 6 wickets. 5 teams participated in Kho-Kho Women. Shivani Patel and team NCC were the winners. Sports in-charge Bhagwati Joshi Volleyball, Pawan Purohit Badminton, Himesh Bhavsar Cricket, Alpendra and Priyant Kho-Kho and Himank Jain organized the competition. Krish Joshi BA 2nd year was the Player of the Tournament. A food fair was organized along with the games with the aim of encouraging healthy eating habits. It was coordinated by Reena Upadhyay, Sweety Kakhani and Vineeta Joshi. It included Sprouts Bhel, Herbal Juice, Vegetable Sandwich, Gujarati Khichu and many delicious food items.
Awards were distributed at the event. In this, various participants of NCC, Scout and Personality Development Workshop were given awards. On this occasion Kamal Pandya, Dr. Darshana Trivedi, Dr. Neeti Sharma, Soumya Sureka, Shailesh Pathak, Dr. Lalit Chaudhary, Chirag Pandya, Rashmi Wadhwani, Sapna Rajora, Hiren Dev, Dr. Anil Panchal, NCC Lieutenant Srishti Jain, Kamlesh Joshi were present.
