Sriganganagar Demonstration in Noorpura demanding to stop religious conversions

Sriganganagar News Desk: In the nearby village Noorpura, members of Azad Club protested outside the house of a religious preacher, accusing a particular community of trying to convert. The club held a satsang in the temple of village Noorpura.

Took out a procession. Club convenor Rinku Thackeray said that in future if anyone tries to get religious conversion done, it will be opposed along with villagers and other organizations. He warned the administration that some people in the village were getting religious conversion done. This should be stopped strictly, otherwise there will be protests in the city. The protesters included Mitrasen Jangu, Sukhveer Singh Sukha, Pankaj Sihag, Suresh Rangeela, Raman Juneja, Sahil Baghla,

Club members and common people including Resham Singh Jagga, Monty Maurya, Ajay Baghla were present. The protesters allege that efforts are being made to convert Hindu and Sikh people by tricking them. Some people gather on Sunday. Where in the name of discussion, fabricated stories are told to innocent people. Efforts are made to deceive in the name of miracles. A fortnight ago the club members had also submitted a memorandum to the SDM demanding to stop the conversions.
