Sriganganagar youth dies during treatment after consuming poisonous substance while intoxicated

Sriganganagar : A person consumed poisonous substance under the influence of alcohol in village 8A of Anupgarh. Who died during treatment in PBM Hospital, Bikaner. The brother of deceased Teerth Ram has lodged a complaint at Anupgarh police station today.

ASI Ramekar Meena said that Megharam (46), son of Kanaram Meghwal, resident of village 4A, has lodged a complaint that his brother Tirtha Ram (42) lived in village 8A with his wife, two sons and a daughter. Theertham was addicted to drinking alcohol.

The deceased’s brother told that on the morning of November 19, Tirtha Ram consumed some poisonous substance under the influence of alcohol and when his condition deteriorated, he was taken to the government hospital in Anupgarh. Due to Tirtha Ram’s condition being serious, he was referred to Bikaner PBM Hospital on 20th November. The deceased’s brother told that he died during treatment on November 21 at 10 am. ASI Ramker Meena said that the police has got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family members and a case has been registered based on the report of the brother of the deceased.
