Jalore News Desk: The students of the college locked the main gate and submitted a memorandum to the college incharge Kishore Kumar Mali regarding their demands regarding the facilities and teaching arrangements in the Government College, Jalore, Rewatada. Students told that regular classes are not being held in the college and even if they are held, they are held late and there is no arrangement for tables and chairs. Students are not getting scholarship facility. There is no provision of security guard, canteen, library, there is no cleanliness of the playground in the college and there is no sports material. The students demanded the appointment of a principal in the college and fulfillment of other demands. Warned that if the problem is not resolved within 5 days, agitation will be started again.
45 tables and chairs among three hundred students
University The students told that the third session of the college is going on. Out of which two years were running in the government school of Revatada and the third session is going on in the college building. Which was inaugurated on 14 August 2024 but till now there is no seating arrangement for the students. There is a provision of only 45 tables and chairs among 300 students.
Posts of 5 lecturers but appointment of 4 out of which 1 is absent for a long time
Information According to the college, the subjects in the college are History, Rajasthani, Hindi Literature and Geography. It is alleged that lecturers of Hindi literature and history always arrive late. Geography lecturer is absent for a long time, due to which studies are being affected. ID mapping for scholarship has not been done in the government college. There is a problem with the system. Staff will arrive in January. Then the security guard will be set up soon. In the first budget, 45 sets of table and chairs have been provided in the meeting arrangement, there is no budget yet, there is a demand for it.
