Jodhpur : Police is in action since communal tension in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. At this time, senior police officers are marching with their teams in every street and locality of Soorsagar area and appealing to the people to maintain peace. Talking about the latest situation in the area, Jodhpur police called the municipal corporation team early on Saturday and got the stones lying on the streets and mohallas removed. The vehicles and shops which were set on fire have also been extinguished. So far, a total of 45 people have been arrested in this entire incident, while FIRs have been registered against 200 people. A few moments ago, a large team of women police personnel has reached here, who are patrolling and taking stock of the security arrangements in the area, and are making strategies for the future action plan.
Drones continue to search the houses of stone pelters
Many officers including ADCP Narpat Singh and Nishant Bhardwaj, ACP Rajendra Prasad Diwakar, ACP Jairam, ACP Anil Kumar are present in Sursagar at this time. After patrolling, they have ordered to search the entire area with drones. During this, it will be ascertained from which roofs of houses stones were being pelted on Friday night. With the help of drones, the stones lying on the roofs of those houses will be captured on camera, then further action will be taken against all of them according to the law. The women of the families of the minority suspects arrested by the police on charges of stone pelting met senior policemen today and expressed their displeasure over the entire incident.
