Udaipur : Wedding season is going on and meanwhile the fear of robber brides is also increasing. Often such cases come to light when a marriage takes place and the groom gets trapped. The bride leaves the house with jewelery and cash. But a very interesting case has come to light in Salumber town near Udaipur district. The bride was arrested even before the marriage. When the police opened the horoscope, the groom was also stunned.
The bride used to commit a scandal as soon as she celebrated her wedding night.
Actually, the police have arrested a woman named Sakshi and two youths in Salumber area. Both of them were going to get Sakshi married and had also finalized the groom. The wedding was going to happen soon. But before this the police caught Sakshi. She had got married only three months ago and after that she had cleaned out the jewelery and cash from the house and ran away. The groom had lodged a report and after that he was arrested.
Sakshi has done 6 marriages till now
When the investigation was done, even the police officers got confused. It was revealed that till now Sakshi has done six marriages and has robbed six grooms. He also has a daughter and a son from these marriages. Who are living with their husbands. He has committed crimes every time he sees an opportunity. Police said that these predatory brides earn money in not one but two ways. Sakshi took three to five lakh rupees in cash every time before the marriage, pretending that she was poor and then cleaned the groom’s house and left. Sakshi and her associates earned around Rs 50 lakh from these six marriages. Police is still trying for recovery.
