Shiprapath police station has arrested three miscreants who were demanding ransom by kidnapping Jaipur : Jaipur property dealers and people working in finance. The three miscreants used to do recce for a few days before the incident. Used to know the time of their departure and arrival at night. After this, the miscreants would stop his car on the way, beat him up and take him away in their car. The gang has committed more than 7 kidnapping incidents so far. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said – The police team on Sunday arrested the criminal Harsahay Gurjar alias Ravi Gurjar (22), resident of Balghat-Karauli Hall, Meena Wala Sirsi Road, Sunil Singh (23 ) resident of Degana-Nagaur and Mahendra Singh alias Goli resident of Kailai-Sikandra Dausa Hall Meena Wala Sirsi Road Karni Vihar Has been arrested. The main leader of this gang is still absconding and is being searched.

DCP South Digant Anand said that the victim Amit Kumar, resident of Durgapura, had reported that he was going to Durgapura from Mira Marg Mansarovar in a cab on November 7, 2024, at around 1 am, after meeting friends. When Chowpatty reached near Mansarovar, a car came from behind and parked in front of the cab. Due to which 4-6 miscreants got down, forcefully took them out of the cab, beat them up and took them away in their own car. After this, three mobile phones, purse, watch and money were snatched. After this, they took him to the rooftop of an apartment, took him hostage, beat him up and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.

DCP said that earlier in October 2024, Amit resident of Mansarovar was kidnapped from a restaurant near Dwarkadas Park on Madhyam Marg. After beating Amit, he took him 200 feet towards Ajmer Road. After this, mobile, gold chain, rings, Apple Watch and Rs 27 thousand were looted. They took him to the roof of a flat on Bajri Mandi Road and took him hostage. After this he was hit on the head with a pistol. After this, Amit ran away after getting the opportunity. Identification was done through car number in CCTV camera.

DCP South said that police teams were activated when similar incidents happened one after the other. The police team reached the spot after the incident and scanned the CCTV footage installed in the area. To catch the miscreants, a team was formed under the leadership of CI Shiprapath Amit Sharma under the direction of Additional DCP Lalit Kumar Sharma and ACP Mansarovar Aditya Kakade. The team checked the CCTV footage around the incident site. On the basis of CCTV footage, the car used in the crime and the appearance of the criminals involved in the crime were identified.

ACP Mansarovar Aditya Kakade said that during interrogation it came to light that the incident was planned by Rajendra Chaudhary. Rajendra Chaudhary used to identify financiers and property dealers. After this he used to do Reiki. He used to chase them and kidnap them at night. After this, he would go to isolated places, beat him up, take hostages in his flat and demand ransom from his family members. Rajendra Chaudhary has come to light of committing 4-5 kidnapping incidents in other cities also.
