The guests who came to visit World Tourism Day Jaipur danced vigorously, welcomed by Rajasthani artists.

Jaipur : On the occasion of Jaipur Tourism Day, guests were welcomed in traditional style at all the tourist places on Friday. Tourists were welcomed with tilak and garlands. A large number of tourists were seen at Amer Mahal, Nahargarh, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall. Foreign tourists were also seen dancing with Kalbelia artists at Hawa Mahal. Here the tourists along with the folk artists spread the flavor of folk culture. A welcome program was organized here with the help of the officials of Archeology and Tourism Department. Representatives of travel trade also cooperated in this. This year’s World Tourism Day is being celebrated by the department on the theme of Tourism and Peace.

Cleanliness campaign started

The department has started a cleanliness campaign at all tourist places and RTDC centres. Under this, on Friday, representatives of various organizations along with department officials took part in the campaign to clean the Sagar of Amer.

This program is also special for tourists

At all these tourist places, attractive presentations like Kalbelia dance, Kachchi Ghodi dance, puppet dance, impersonation, Shehnai playing etc. were given by the folk artists from the morning itself. Rajasthani Folk Art and Cultural Evening will be organized by the Tourism Department at Albert Hall at 6.30 pm. Tourism Commissioner Vijaypal Singh said – On the occasion of Tourism Day, many programs will be organized by the department, as per the series of these programs The main event is the cultural evening organized at Albert Hall. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari will attend it as the chief guest.

In this cultural evening organized at Albert Hall, the audience will get to see the Jugalbandi of traditional Kathak and Rajasthani folk dances of Jaipur Gharana. During this cultural evening adorned with unique choreography, performances of Kalbelia and Ghoomar dance will also be given. Vijaypal said – On this occasion, the virtual inauguration of Marwar Hall of RTDC Jodhpur will be done by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. On this occasion, social media content creators will also be honored by the Deputy CM.

He said that the Tourism Department organizes many such programs from time to time to attract domestic and foreign tourists towards the state tourism, so that they can experience the folk art, culture and hospitality of Rajasthan and take back indelible souvenirs from Rajasthan. Deputy Director of the Department, Upendra Singh Shekhawat, said – On the occasion of Tourism Day, a cleaning campaign was conducted on the Sagar of Amer with the aim of creating awareness about the heritage of Jaipur and promoting eco-tourism. A large number of people and volunteers participated in it. Officials and employees of Tourism Department, RTDC, Archeology and Museum Department as well as representatives of travel trade like FHTR, HRAR, ITO, ADTOI, FRTO, .HOJ and guide association members and A cleanliness campaign was also organized by the students of IHM Jaipur from 7 am to 9 am at Sagar Kund located behind Amer Palace.

Fountains start again in Saffron Quarry

On a trial basis, the fountains of Kesar Kyari situated in Amer Mahal will be run regularly from 8 am to 11 am every day and the fountains situated in front of Sheesh Mahal will be run regularly from 8 am to 8 pm. On this occasion, a seminar will be organized on the subject of tourism and tourism in Amer Palace. The main objective of the seminar is to explore innovation and new possibilities in tourism of Amer Palace and to discuss measures related to increasing the number of tourists. Officials of Amer based Guide Union have been invited to the seminar.
