Churu : A camper vehicle full of children went out of control and overturned in Churu district of Rajasthan. All the people were going to attend the teacher’s retirement party. Two people died in the incident while 29 were injured, out of which the condition of 3 remains critical. Out of these, 20 children have been referred to Taranagar sub-district hospital, 5 to private hospital, 1 to Sahwa and 1 to Jaipur. The accident took place near Nathon Ki Dhani on Dheerwas Road of Meghsar in Taranagar area. Deputy Superintendent of Police Meenakshi said – “Bhagu Ram, second grade teacher of Senior Secondary School of Meghsar village, retired today. In such a situation, he organized a retirement party in the village. During this, the accident happened suddenly. On receiving the information, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.”
50-year-old Krishna Meena and 12-year-old Aditya died in the incident. Rahul, Monica and Raunak are in critical condition and have been admitted to Churu District Hospital. Police are investigating the entire matter. Raunak, a student injured in the accident, said, “Sir had called the children and staff to the village for food. He had also rented a car in which more than 30 people were sitting. The driver was driving the car fast, due to which the accident happened.
District administration strict regarding the matter
In this case, District Education Officer Santosh Maharshi says, “The department officials have been talked to regarding the incident.” District Collector Pushpa Satyani said, “A proposal has also been sent to the government for the help of the victim and the deceased. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the incident.”
