Jodhpur News Desk: The investigation into the case of murder of a female beautician, cutting her body into six pieces and burying it in the ground is stuck. Seven days have passed since the FIR was lodged, but till now neither the post-mortem has been conducted nor the spot inspection nor even the statements of the witnesses have been recorded. On the other hand, the main accused has not been caught yet. However, the police claim that they are very close to the accused and can be caught soon. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Rajarshi Raj Verma said that Ghulamuddin Farooqui is the main accused in the case. Only after he is caught will the role of anyone else involved in the murder be known. The police have reached very close to him. So far 25-30 suspects have been interrogated. Police say that it is necessary to conduct post-mortem of the deceased’s body as soon as possible. Delay may affect evidence. Talks are being held with the family to get the post-mortem done. Ghulamuddin’s wife Abeda Parveen, who is on remand, is being interrogated.
The main accused is hiding a thousand kilometers away
Anita, wife of Manmohan Chaudhary, resident of Sardarpura I B Road, was probably murdered on the night of 27 October. The body was cut into six pieces and buried in a pit just outside the house on October 28. On October 29, the police reached Ghulamuddin’s house, but he escaped after parking his moped in the parking lot of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. He is hiding about a thousand km away from Jodhpur after crossing two states. 17-18 policemen under the leadership of ADCP Nishant Bhardwaj and two police station in-charges are searching for him with the help of CCTV footage and other technical aspects and the local police.
MLA talked to CM
The ongoing protest by the family members of the deceased and members of the society at the Veer Teja temple located in Bhagat Ki Kothi continued for the seventh day on Wednesday. Osian MLA Bhairaram Seoul reached the temple in the afternoon and joined the protest. During this, the MLA talked to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on mobile in the presence of committee members. The committee members demanded a CBI investigation, compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family of the deceased, government job and arrest of the accused.
Five persons brought for questioning arrested
More than two dozen people were detained for questioning on suspicion. These included Mohammad Haroon, Ashok Gurnani, Bhavani Shankar, Omprakash Meghwal and Javed Qureshi who were arrested on charges of breach of peace. Those who were restrained from being presented before the Executive Magistrate.
If not accepted, demonstration and Jodhpur bandh will be called.
On the other hand, under the banner of Sarva Samaj Chhattis Kaum Sangharsh Samiti, a meeting was held at Hanwant Garden located on Pavata B Road.
