Karauli : Karauli The NHSRC team from Delhi conducted rapid assessment of various units of Karauli District Hospital on Tuesday. Under the National Quality Programme, the team identified key departmental improvement indicators to fulfill the objective of providing quality services as per the prescribed checklist of all the departments of the hospital as per the world class standards. The team included Dr. Dinesh Kumar Jangid from NHSRC Delhi and Internal Deputy CMHO Health Dr. Omprakash participated as a supporter. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Dinesh Chand Meena said that under the National Quality Program of the Government of India, all medical institutions have to be prepared for services as per world class standards.
Rapid assessment is being done to review the quality services of medical institutions as per the prescribed check list. Under this, the district hospital was assessed through a two-day rapid assessment based on all check list protocols, rapid assessment as per policy, observation, staff interview and record review. The team determined the time line to correct the desired check points. And by doing gap analysis and root cause treatment, he was asked to improve the departmental key point indicators (indices leading to major departmental improvements).
