Udaipur : Some part of the temple of Devasthan Department located at the court intersection in the elevated road to be built in Udaipur city will be taken in public interest. The elevated road will end near this place. For this, the city MLA along with the officials visited on Friday evening. After the visit, after discussion with the engineers, it was decided that 4 meters of land will be taken from the Hanuman temple, which is coming till before the stairs of the temple. Udaipur city MLA Tarachand Jain held discussions with officials of Municipal Corporation and Devasthan Department in the temple itself. Municipal Corporation Superintendent Engineer Mukesh Pujari told Assistant Commissioner of Devasthan Department Jatin Gandhi that only 4 meters of land is required from the beginning of the temple, which is coming till the stairs going inside the temple. Also told that this will not cause any harm to the temple nor will there be any change in its original form.
When the corporation officials went to the temple and measured 4 meters, it was completed till the stairs located inside the temple. He also assured that after taking the land, the wall of the temple will be constructed in the same form as before. Superintending Engineer Pujari told that the Devasthan will take 4 meter land of the temple from the Corporation. A request letter has been sent to the department and the work will be started as soon as the consent is received from the Devasthan Department. During this, Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Akhil Goyal, Assistant Engineer Sunil Prajapat, Junior Engineer Pratibha Sharma, BJP Dehat Vice President Ramkripa Sharma, advocate Ghanshyam Singh Chauhan and others were present.
Shops will also be removed
This temple, which comes under the Devasthan Department, also has shops, which have been given on rent by the department. City MLA Tarachand Jain instructed Deputy Commissioner of Devasthan Department Jatin Gandhi that the shops coming in between the elevated platforms should be vacated as soon as possible, so that the work can be started.
There will be arrangements for entry and exit from the site of the temple.
At present there is a provision to enter this temple from the main road only. In such a situation, Jain told the officials that the entry to this temple should be made from the road leading from the court intersection towards Girva tehsil and the exit should be made towards Girva tehsil only, so that if there is no entry from the main road, then there is a possibility of an accident with the coming devotees. Will not remain.
Know about two-lane elevated road
About 2.7 km long elevated road will be built from the City Railway Station of Udaipur city to Banshi Paan in front of the Collector Bungalow located at Court Square. Municipal Corporation Udaipur had floated a tender of Rs 179.14 crore for the construction. The estimated cost in the DPR was estimated at Rs 208 crore. 12 agencies participated in the tender. Transrail Lighting Private Limited, the agency with the lowest rate, agreed to build it for Rs 136.89 crore.
