Jodhpur : A case of beating of a young man and cutting off his nose has come to light in Dechu police station area of Phalodi district of Rajasthan on Tuesday afternoon. According to the information, it was the wife’s ex-husband who attacked the young man. The injured youth has been referred to MDMH, Jodhpur for treatment. On the report of the young man’s wife, the police have registered a case against five-six unknown people including the ex-husband. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
There was enmity between Umaram and Bhagwan Ram
Dechu police station SHO Jethalal said that there is a mutual rivalry going on between Umaram and Bhagwan Ram, residents of Bhim Sagar Kalau. Due to this, there was a fight between the two and some people attacked Umaram with a sharp weapon and left him bleeding. Bhagwati, wife of the injured youth Umaram, lodged a report with the police, in which she told that Umaram was going to his farm at around 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon.
5-6 people attacked Umaram
During this time, five-six people riding in Bolero stopped Umaram on the way and started beating him. After this, after putting him in the vehicle and taking him to some distance, the attackers attacked him with a sharp weapon and cut off his nose. Due to this Umaram bled to death. After treatment at the local hospital, Umaram has been referred to MDMH, Jodhpur on the advice of doctors. Police said that a case has been registered, further investigation is going on in the matter.

Police said that Bhagwati was previously married to Lord Ram, a resident of Lohawat Rupana. He has two children. There was friendship between Bhagwati and Dechu resident Umaram for a long time.
