There is a huge amount of offerings in the donation box of this temple of Rajasthan, gifts of gold, silver and cash

Chittorgarh : The monthly donation box of the famous Krishna Dham Shri Savaliaji Mandfiya was opened on 4th July. So far, in three phases, 14 crore, 84 lakh 41 thousand rupees of donations have been counted. The gold and silver found in the donation box and the donation room is yet to be weighed. The money taken out of the donation box is being counted amid tight security arrangements. The temple board administration, members and bank employees are counting the money taken out of the donation box from morning till evening. Today, on Wednesday, the fourth phase of counting of the money taken out of the donation box is being done.

So far three phases of counting have been completed

In the first round of counting from the donation box of Sanwara Seth which was opened on 4th July, 7 crore 70 lakh 41 thousand notes were counted. Due to Amavasya on 5th July, the counting of notes could not be done. After this, the second round of counting started on Monday 8th July. In the second round, 4 crore 35 lakh 40 thousand rupee notes were counted. In the third round of counting on 9th July, 2 crore 78 lakh 60 rupee notes could be counted.

Surveillance is also being done through cameras

Every month on the Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha, the storehouse of Lord Shri Sanwalia Seth is opened. Rajbhog Aarti is performed before opening the storehouse. The storehouse was opened in the presence of Rakesh Kumar, CEO of Shri Sanwaliaji Mandir Mandal Mandfiya, Mandir Mandal President Bhairu Lal Gurjar and members of the Mandir Mandal. During the counting of donations, monitoring is also being done through CCTV and cameras. Due to the large number of devotees in the temple on Amavasya day, the amount taken out from the storehouse is not counted.

Since crores of rupees are withdrawn from the donation box every month, the counting of notes is completed in 3-4 stages. Last month in June, donations worth 17 crore 12 lakh 74 thousand 984 rupees were withdrawn from the donation box of Shri Savaliya Seth. Apart from this, one kilo 849 grams 510 milligram gold and 68 kilo 6 grams 500 milligram silver were received.

Meeting regarding preparations for Jaljhulani Ekadashi

A three-day grand fair of Shri Sanwalia Seth is organized on Jaljhulani Ekadashi. A meeting was also organized recently regarding the preparations for the fair. During the fair, various cultural and religious programs including Virat Kavi Sammelan are organized on different stages throughout the night. A large number of devotees reach the fair. A procession is also organized during this time.
