Jaipur : Rohitash Lamba was martyred in the Pulwama attack in Shahpura of Jaipur rural area. The martyr’s wife Manju Devi had protested a year ago demanding a government job for her brother-in-law. The brother-in-law for whom Manju had protested, has now been accused by the braveheart of assault. Three days ago, the braveheart filed a case at the local police station Amarsar, accusing her brother-in-law as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law of assault. Amarsar police have arrested the braveheart’s brother-in-law Jitendra Singh on charges of disturbing the peace.
Accused of quarreling and assault on a daily basis
In the case, brave woman Manju Devi accused her in-laws of quarreling and beating her every day. Originally a resident of Govindpura Basdi, Manju alleged that her mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law had been harassing her for several months. Out of fear, she was forced to leave her house and live in Jaipur. Whenever she goes to the village with her children, she is quarreled with and even manhandled. When she went to the village on September 13, she was beaten up. Later on the night of September 15, she was again quarreled and beaten up. After this, a case was registered against mother-in-law Ghisi Devi, father-in-law Babulal Lamba and brother-in-law Jitendra Lamba.
Accused of beating and throwing out of the house
The victimised wife of martyr Rohitash Lamba has alleged that on the night of 15th September, her in-laws beat her up in a group. Manju Devi was accompanied by her younger sister Hansa. When Hansa tried to escape from the in-laws who were beating her up at 10:30 pm on 15th September, she was also beaten up. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law beat her up with hands and kicks while her brother-in-law Jitendra Singh attacked her with an iron rod. Due to this, she suffered severe injuries on her body. After this, a case was registered in the police station.
Dispute over property
According to the information, there is a dispute going on in the martyr’s family regarding the family property. It is being told that the martyr’s wife and her in-laws are face to face regarding this dispute. During the previous government, the wife had agitated to get a government job for her brother-in-law. In those days, BJP leader Dr. Kirori Lal Meena also marched towards the residence of the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot along with Manju. Then the Gehlot government, citing the rules, argued that according to the rules, the martyr’s wife or his children can be given a government job. There is no provision for giving a job to any other member of the family.
