There is an atmosphere of fear inside ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’: Raju Waghmare

Mumbai, November 22 (IANS). The results of Maharashtra Assembly elections are to be announced on Saturday. Earlier on Friday, Shiv Sena leader and party spokesperson Raju Waghmare had a special conversation with IANS. During this, he reacted to the support of independent MLAs after the election results, Prakash Ambedkar’s post on social media and the claim of ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’ coming to power.

Raju Waghmare said that ‘Mahayuti’ has fought this election together, so I do not think that we will have to go to independents. But, the inclination of independent MLAs is in favor of ‘Mahayuti’. We have helped everyone. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde never discriminated against anyone, he helped his opponents as much as those in power.

Regarding Prakash Ambedkar’s post on ‘X’, Shiv Sena spokesperson Raju Waghmare said that first it has to be seen how many of their MLAs will win. He used to talk against ‘Mahayuti’, but if his mind has changed and if he wants to support ‘Mahayuti’ then what is the problem.

Taking a dig at the reaction of Mahavikas Aghadi leaders on the exit poll results, Waghmare said that it is everyone’s right to dream. We cannot stop anyone for this. In the last two years, Maharashtra has developed a lot under the leadership of ‘Mahayuti’. Therefore, our government will come.

On Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut’s question regarding declaring the chief ministerial face at 10 am on the day of results, Waghmare said in a sarcastic tone that he has not been able to elect the chief ministerial face in the last six months, what will he do now. In such a situation, ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’ has no claim on the Chief Minister, rather it will make a claim on the opposition leader.

On the question of shifting the current candidates of ‘Mahavikas Aghadi’ to Mumbai, he said that there is an atmosphere of fear among them. They are afraid that their MLAs may not come to us. Only three major parties of ‘Mahayuti’ together are going to come into majority. If necessary, we will move forward with independent MLAs.
