After the incident on Thursday night, on Friday, police personnel were deployed for security in Mastan Baba area under the leadership of CO City Jitendra Singh Rathore and Rural CO Ratnaram Dewasi. Someone threw five severed heads of cattle in the river near the Bandi river bridge on Hyder Colony Road in the city on Thursday late evening. Suspecting that the heads were of cows, Hindu organisations and cow devotees got enraged. They blocked the road near Mastan Baba Dargah and protested fiercely. They created a ruckus demanding the arrest of the accused. During this, suddenly a Scorpio driver started taking the Scorpio through the crowd. The medical board conducted post-mortem of the five heads of the cattle kept in the veterinary hospital located at the old bus stand of the city on Friday morning. After this, the veterinary doctors sent the samples to Jodhpur for FSL investigation.
