Udaipur : After the death of Mahendra Singh Mewar, a member of the former royal family of Udaipur, his son Vishwaraj Singh will be coronated today (25 November). The program will be held at Fateh Prakash Mahal of Chittor Fort. Nathdwara MLA Vishwaraj Singh will be installed on the throne. Tilak will be applied by cutting the thumb with the edge of a sword. This tradition will be carried out by Salumbar Thikanedar. After the death of Bhagwat Singh Mewar, elder son Mahendra Singh Mewar was crowned on 19 November 1984.
Coronation will take place in Chittorgarh
Coronation will take place in Chittorgarh at 10 am. This program will be completed between 2 to 3 hours. After this, Vishvaraj Singh will reach Udaipur by 2 pm. After having darshan of Dhuni at City Palace, Eklingji will reach Mahadev Temple, where the mourning will end. After this, Paag Dastur will be held at his residence, Samor Bagh, in which the white Paag of mourning will be removed and pink Paag will be worn. After this the program will end.

After coronation, Vishwar Singh will meet the people of Mewar. After this we will go to Udaipur. After reaching Udaipur, we will have darshan of Prayaggiri Maharaj in the palace. After this we will have darshan of the family deity.
Vishwaraj Singh will serve as Mewar Diwan
Eklingnath ji is considered the king of Mewar. The Maharanas performed their duties as the Diwan of Eklingnathji. For this reason, following the tradition, Vishvaraj Singh Mewar will also visit Eklingji. Here the priest will perform the ritual of Rang Dastur. A silver stick will be worn on his shoulder. Giving this stick would mean that Vishwar Singh would serve as the Diwan of Mewar.
The mourning ceremony will be performed
After this the ritual of mourning will be performed. Maharana’s white Paag will be replaced with a colorful Paag. Vishwar Singh will come to Mewar, Udaipur, Samorbagh. Will make the family members and old jagirdars mourn. After this everyone will be able to participate in the festival. Will be able to wear colorful Mewari pag.
