Tonk : Independent candidate Naresh Meena, who was arrested in connection with the uproar in Samravata village, was arrested on production warrant, interrogated by police and presented in Deoli court today again through video conference. From where orders have been given to send him back to jail for 14 days.
Let it be known that on the day of voting on November 13, independent Naresh Meena had slapped SDM Amit Choudhary over the issue of forcibly voting of three people despite the voting boycott. After that he again went on strike. The same night at around quarter to 10, the police captured Naresh. Police and King’s supporters came face to face regarding this. Naresh escaped from the police and again came on strike. After that the police again lathicharged. Fired in the air. Released tear gas shells. Villagers alleged that the police entered their houses and beat people brutally. Hundreds of people were injured in this. Meanwhile, people picked up Naresh Meena from the protest site and took him to another place. The police took action and arrested more than 50 people in the night itself.
The next day, on 14th November, at around 9.15 am, Naresh Meena suddenly reached Samravata village and met the people door to door and people told him not to panic, the entire village is with you. Then he came to the protest site. Talking to the media here, he said that I will compensate those who have suffered losses, even if my fields are sold or I have to beg. Later the police reached the village and arrested Naresh. On November 15, Naresh Meena and 52 other accused were presented directly in the Niwai Court through VC. From where everyone was sent to jail. Four cases were filed against Naresh Meena. She was arrested on a production warrant on Saturday evening and brought to the police station for questioning in these cases. Where he was interrogated and presented in Deoli court through VC at around 1.45 pm on Sunday evening. From where orders have been issued to send him to jail again for 14 days. Now action is being taken to shift Naresh Meena.
