Jhunjhunu : Chaudhary Bachanram Sihag, patron of Rajasthan Education Group, was remembered. On Wednesday, in memory of Chaudhary Bachanram Sihag, his sons Rajasthan Education Group Director Dr. Pratap Singh Sihag and Mahesh Sihag and daughter-in-law Bissau Academy Principal Vinod Sihag paid floral tributes to him at New Rajasthan Public School. All the students and staff members prayed for the peace of his soul.
Throwing light on his father’s life, Institute Director Dr. Sihag said that he was our mentor who established Rajasthan Education Group Institute in 1992 and supported and guided us with body, mind and money for 29 years. He was a soldier in the India-Pakistan wars of 1965 and 1971. Following idealistic principles, after serving the country, he opposed the evils prevalent in the society and gave good education and values to the children. He was an environment lover, he was very fond of trees, he had planted hundreds of trees. He built a rest house and toilet at the bus stand of his birthplace Luttu and made arrangements for food and water for the birds.
