The Excise Department will take strict action against those who hold such parties without permission. Regarding this, Excise Commissioner Shivprasad Nakate has issued an order and asked to ensure its compliance. Along with this, the number of people drinking alcohol in the party has also been fixed. Not only this, the common people will also be able to lodge a complaint with the Excise Department on a toll free number against those who hold illegal liquor parties. According to the Excise Department, if a party is found without a license in any hotel, dhaba, restaurant or wedding, birthday party or other event, then action will be taken against that person.
Will have to buy on contract, will get online license
According to the Excise Commissioner, for events held for one day or more in hotel, restaurant, club bar premises, a license to serve liquor will have to be approved from the Excise Department. The Excise Department has now started the online process for granting temporary license to serve liquor in one-day or two-day parties or weddings. Besides, liquor will also have to be purchased from any contract of Excise Department.

For liquor party in marriage ceremony, the concerned will have to first obtain online license. After this he will have to fill the details of the shop from where he wants to buy liquor bottles. Not only this, he will also have to feed online which brand he wants. After this, he will be able to go to the concerned shop and make payment and take the goods.
