Two truck drivers killed in bus collision in Bikaner Nokha

Bikaner News Desk: Two youths riding a bike died in a collision with a roadways bus. After the head-on collision, the youth jumped and fell on the road. Both of them died on the spot. After the collision, the driver abandoned the bus and ran away. The accident took place in Nokha village of Bikaner on Thursday afternoon at around 3.30 pm.

After the accident, angry people blocked the highway. On information, the police reached the spot and after convincing the villagers, the traffic was smoothened. A farmer died after being hit by a car in Himmatsar village of Nokha. The video of the incident has also surfaced.

Acting Police Station Officer Amit Kumar said – Radheshyam (45), son of Ramjas Bishnoi, resident of Ghattu Hall, resident of Mohanpura and Shravan (50), son of Hetram Vishnoi, resident of Ghattu Hall, died in the accident. Both were truck drivers. The dead bodies have been kept in the mortuary of the district hospital.

Both the truck drivers were coming from Budhra’s Dhani towards Nokha on bike. A roadways bus coming from the front hit the bike on Highway-62 near Nokha village. The collision was so strong that both of them died on the spot. After the accident, a crowd of passers-by and nearby people gathered at the spot and blocked the highway. The villagers alleged that the traffic system on the highway was not good. The police reached the spot, convinced the villagers and got the jam removed.
