Main objective to stop plastic waste: Ganpat Lohar of the Central Group of Environment Activity said that the Sant Samaj has taken a resolution that the Purna Kumbh held every 12 years should be environment friendly and plastic free through environment protection activity, in which the entire Hindu society is going to participate. About 40 crore devotees from India and abroad are likely to come to this Mahakumbh. In this Kumbh which lasts for 45 days, it is estimated that about 40 thousand tonnes of waste will be emitted due to plastic, due to which everyone is worried about the damage to the environment. For this reason, a bag and a plate campaign is being run across the country to see how the society can prevent or reduce this waste at its own level. Under this, Udaipur Marble Processors Committee has inspired environmental activities to make Kumbh green in environmental protection. Took a pledge to make and presented 1100 bags and plates to environmental activity workers for the devotees going there.
