Udaipur : Udaipur The accused has been arrested from UP in the suicide case of two cousin sisters. The young man is accused of instigating both of them to commit suicide. He will be produced in court today and taken on remand. The incident took place 9 days ago in Gogunda police station area of Udaipur. Let us tell you that the bodies of both the minor cousin sisters were found 500 meters away from their house. A black and white thread was found around the neck of both of them. It was the family members who informed the police about the young man, after which he was caught. Police reached Gogunda with the accused on Monday night.
The accused came in contact through Instagram
Police officer Shaitan Singh said – Shahwaz (19), son of Tahseen, resident of Hafizpur, Hapur (UP), has been arrested in the case of suicide of minors. The family members of the girls (16 and 17) had given details about the accused boy associated with Instagram. Who was accused of instigating girls to commit suicide. He said that both of them were troubled for about two months. Didn’t tell even after asking several times. The accused contacted the girls on social media and pressurized them to extort money.
Used to demand money by pressuring him to talk
Police officer said- After the report of the family members, the police identified the accused. After this, a police team was sent to Uttar Pradesh to arrest him. The accused was arrested from Hapur and brought to Gogunda. The accused had befriended both the sisters on Instagram. After this, the accused would sometimes ask for money online by saying that his mobile was not working and sometimes by giving some other reason. Nearly 12 thousand rupees have been extorted. Apart from this, Gogunda used to come and ask to meet. He also used to put pressure on me to talk again and again. Both sisters were upset by this. The accused will be produced in the court today and taken on remand.
The body was found 500 meters away from the house
Two cousin sisters, aged 16 and 17, went missing from home on the evening of 10 November in Gehlot Ka Guda village of Jaswantgarh Gram Panchayat. The next day, the bodies of both the sisters were found in a field 500 meters away from the house. Both were wearing the same colored dress. Both of them studied together in 11th class in government school. According to the police, both the girls consumed poisonous substance, due to which they died.
