Alwar : After the new law came into force in the country from Monday, the first FIR in Jodhpur Police Commissionerate was registered in Mathania. An FIR was registered in police station Mathania under sections 331 (4) and 305 (A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This FIR has been registered directly in the police station.

Assistant Police Commissioner (Mandor) Piyush Kaviya said that 90 sacks full of onions were stolen by breaking the locks of the warehouse on Nevra Road to Rinia Village Road on Sunday night. An FIR was lodged by the victim in this regard. A case of assault has been registered at Basni Police Station in the western district of Police Commissionerate Jodhpur. Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh has praised the new law. He says that all officers and jawans have been trained. Continuous guidance is being received from the Police Headquarters.

Case filed in Khedapa in rural area

In Jodhpur Rural district, the first FIR under the new law was registered at Khedapa police station. Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh Yadav said that a case was registered under Section 303 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) 2023 and Section 4, 21 of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation of Development) Act 1957. In this, a case was registered by the police station officer in action against illegal mining.
